The Artea Room gets a makeover

Hi everyone, Happy New Year from Joanne and Alan at The Artea Room.

We wanted to share what we’ve been up to over the festive period.

We’ve been putting our mark on The Artea Room, refreshing the paint work, decluttering and adding new decor.

But, this is the exciting bit. As we’ve delved into every nook and cranny we uncovered some absolute gems - boxes of stunning china cups and side plates, previously donated to The Artea Room

These pre-loved treasures have been given the royal treatment—they’ve been washed, buffed, and polished until they’re sparkling like new.

Now they’re ready to shine again and bring joy to your cafe experience.

We can’t wait for you to enjoy your next cup of tea or slice of cake served with a touch of vintage charm.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this cafe’s story—we’re so lucky to share these little joys with you.

We also had a lot of support from our new friends at Mrs R’s - thank you so much!

We reopen our doors on Thursday 2nd January at 10am and we hope we’ll see you very soon!
