We’re Hiring: Kitchen Assistant Wanted!

Are you passionate about home-cooked food and looking to be part of a cozy, friendly tearoom team? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Assistant to join us at The Artea Room!

We are a busy tearoom offering breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and afternoon teas.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting our Kitchen Manager with food preparation and cooking

• Loading and unloading the dishwasher

• Helping maintain a clean, organised kitchen

• Following Safer Food, Better Business practices to ensure top-quality standards

• Full training provided - including Food Hygiene and Food Allergen Awareness.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous kitchen experience is a must

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit

• Someone who loves good food and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests

This is a part-time position:

• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Pay £12 per hour

• All tips are shared among the team - divided by hours worked

• Overtime and cover shifts available, plus the occasional evening events
